The Jesse Tree

We’ve been spending time each day reading The Jesse Tree by Geraldine McCaughrean and adding hand drawn ornaments to our own tree. Every story brings deep belly laughs as I read about the grumpy old man who is annoyed by the questions of a young boy asking about all the various symbols being carved to add to the tree.

Our own Jesse Tree is a tradition we started years ago and enjoy recreating every Christmas season.

This year, we have special gifts under our Jesse Tree that have been arriving daily from so many friends at the 4Real forum. When a package arrives, we say a prayer for the family that has sent the package and place the gift under the tree. I can’t wait to show you my 4Real Tree….soon.
